Division facts are the mirror image of times tables — knowing that 7 × 8 = 56 should let a child answer 56 ÷ 8 just as quickly. This game generates division questions from exact multiplication facts (so answers are always whole numbers), building that two-way recall rather than treating division as a separate skill to learn from scratch.
Why division often lags behind multiplication
Many children can recite times tables fluently but hesitate on the equivalent division fact, because most classroom drilling focuses on multiplication first. Deliberately mixing division questions in — as this game does — closes that gap rather than letting it persist unnoticed.
